Hi Doreen.
Although this may be perceived as a tech only forum feel free to post any anecdotes, bike related.

Edited to fix minor typo.

I'm currently tinkering with my lovely new shiny bike, waiting for parts to be delivered so i can convert it to a 1x10 drivetrain.

When it's done i'll post a piccy on the "post your ride" thread.

Build completed, now to grab a friends camera.

Had an interesting experience when i first rode it that i didn't expect.

After i had installed the narrow wide chainring the gears were completely out of whack, i assume this i because the NW chainring holds the chain more so its slightly altering the angle at which the chain hits the casette.

No big deal a couple of twists and it was fine.

One thing i need to put on my shopping list though is a chainring bolt key/holder so i can minimize the female bolt spinning around when tightenning.

Anothe thing is the NW chainring isn't the shade of blue i had hoped for and is more of a royal blue than a turquoise so kinda a looks a bit odd as all the other anodized stuff is turquoisey blue.
